Donuts on a string--always a classic.
Face painting. I think Katie asked us at least 30 times if her Y was still on. I wanted them to get their hair sprayed blue and white, but neither of them were daring enough.
It was quite chilly, but they kept warm by spending about an hour inside the bouncy castle. For those of you unfamiliar with Albuquerque, the bouncy castle is a city institution. Every major event has at least two bouncy castles, and they're usually quite deluxe. During the summer, every park is filled with bouncy castles that people have rented out for children's birthday parties.
Averi also enjoyed the bouncy castle. We just bounced her up and down on the ramp going in, and she was thrilled. She screamed any time we moved her away from the area.
And Averi's super cute.
Aaron and I got a babysitter for the kids, so we were able to go to the game together. It was kind of frightening there at the end, but we pulled through and won. It would have been REALLY embarrassing for BYU to have been the Lobos' only win of the season.
That's so awesome that you guys got to see the game...even though it was kind of a dumb game for BYU. But I'm kind of glad that the Lobos played really well. And, of course, your kids are the cutest!
ReplyDeleteSo much fun! How cool that you guys manned a booth! And the picture with Cosmo is awesome! (my hubby wanted to name Kobe Cosmo..ugh).
