Return to Normalcy

We spent almost 3 weeks in Utah for Christmas this year, and it was so much fun to be able to spend so much time with family. Katie and Paul just love
their grandparents and aunts and uncles (probably because they spoil them rotten). For those that don't know, Heather got married on the 29th, so that made our vacation quite hectic, but it was very beautiful. I didn't take any of my own pictures (I didn't want to have to haul our camera around everywhere, and I figured the photographer would do a much better job anyway), but I'll try to post some when Heather gets them back.

Even though we've been back for a while now, our house is just now starting to get back in order. We still have one of the two Christmas trees partially up, but that should be down by the end of the day. Domestic diva that I am, I did still manage to find time to scrap even though my stairs and bathrooms are in desperate need of cleaning. Who wants to work when there are so many fun things to be done?

Ashley, this one's for you! Now you can stop complaining that I never scrap any pictures of our family!

Pam, one of the girls on Traci's creative team mentioned that she didn't have any girly photos so that she could scrap with the girly kits, so I happily helped her out and sent her some of Katie's baby pictures. This is what she just sent me. Isn't it cute? Thanks, Pam!

I hope that life is really never normal for you, Aaron and my grandkids. Normal is just so normal and seems to lead to nothing but normal. As usual the pages are wonderful, the one about Christmas traditions brought tears to my eyes and the ice cream page reminded me of siting at Costco with Katie on my lab eating that big strawberry sundae together (I still can't believe that she ate the whole thing). I'm still looking forward to seeing the pages with katie on her trike and paul on his train. -- Grandpa Barnes
